This year’s Outdoor Women’s Program at Alford Lake was awesome! I got to do some of the most amazing things and met some really wonderful people. I drove up with my friend Heidi to the camp that is just West of Red Deer. We stayed for five days and got to try all sorts of things. I took advanced canoeing, crossbow, trapping, chainsaws, fishing, and trailering, as well as a knife sharpening and backpacking class. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but I carved an itty bitty chair with the chain saw. I can hardly wait for all the amazing things I’m going to do next year!
