We started B-Cookie on solid food today. What a cutie pie! She has just thoroughly enjoyed a bowl of rice cereal. Mmmmm.

Here is a photo of the cake I made for my Brother-in-Law’s Wedding. The base is 9″ high and the top tier is 3″ high. It is a vanilla pound cake torted with wildberry pie filling and covered with buttercream icing and rolled fondant. The topper is fresh red gerber daisies with cranberries and decorative ribbon elements. Photo taken by C-man.

So here is my first attempt at food photography. I use a recipe program called MacGourmet and it has an option to attach a photo to each recipe. I thought a good way to practice some food photography would be to take a picture of the things I bake. Unfortunately, not everything I make looks as good as it tastes, ha ha. B-Boy and Crazy-L can now make popcorn on their own. The can get out the machine, measure the seeds, and pop it into a bowl without making to much of a mess or burning themselves. Mom still melts the butter. (Thank heaven’s they haven’t completely outgrown me yet, ha ha.)
